Adrián Valverde, born in Seville (1977), is an artist whose ability to draw has been acquired in a self-taught way.

Despite the fact that his university studies were taking a different path, in 2011 he decided to attend different workshops of internationally recognized artists, admitting that drawing has always been part of his life. With his pencil, he has searched since childhood, the maximum fidelity in the details with respect to the model.

Today his work is mainly focused on portraiture, using a polished technique of graphite and charcoal. His realistic, clean and passionate style forces him to have enormous patience and meticulous observation, reviewing every drawn centimeter to constantly fight against the instinct to ignore details.
